The Tale of Two Kids

Bara lives in a small town in the Czech Republic. She has a younger brother whose name is Peter. She doesn’t have a sister and she never will.
Peter was born seven years ago. Bara was 3 years old at the time. That means that she is now 10.



Peter and Bara are very different. They fight all the time. Their parents don’t like that and they try to stop the fights but it usually doesn’t work.

But the children are also pretty smart and they both do well in school. That makes their parents very happy.

Bara reads a lot of books. She goes to the library to borrow them and then she returns them when she finishes them. She also makes jewelry for her friends and relatives.

Peter spends a lot of time on his computer. He plays games like Minecraft and he gets better at them every day. He hates it when his Dad doesn’t let him play. He screams and makes all kinds of strange noises.

The kids’ best friend is their neighbor, Lucka. She visits them every weekend and they always have a good time together. Lucka is a very sensible girl and the kids need to learn how to behave from her.

Peter and Bara’s parents are wonderful people. They almost never hit them and they buy them lots of things. Hopefully, one day there will be a statue of them in front of the house.
